Piedmont Asia was built out of the necessity to continue to service of our clients’ needs outside the traditional borders and regulatory requirements of the US market whilst building customized solutions designed to satisfy Asian needs and regulators.
PIEDMONT USA
In 2008, Piedmont was born out of a simple favor between friends. When a Voluntary Benefits Insurance Agent lost a payroll account due to a company buyout, the new ownership couldn’t accommodate payroll deductions for voluntary benefits.
Faced with the challenge of losing the account and the commissions already paid, the agent turned to a friend in the banking industry for a solution. The goal was clear:
“ Create a system that felt like payroll deduction for employees, even though it wasn’t for the employer. ”
What started as a friendly gesture quickly evolved into a thriving business. Agents, Brokers and Carriers immediately recognised the value of Piedmont’s innovative approach, and within a few years, Piedmont was on a path of rapid growth. Today, Piedmont is a leader in premium payment solutions, assisting thousands of employers, unions, associations, organizations and governments across diverse industries.
Our innovative solutions seamlessly integrate with existing processes, ensuring a smooth experience for our customers. By plugging into established mechanisms, we make premium payments effortless every payday, insuring carriers and vendors are paid in a timely manner, while Brokers and agents can better manage their cashflow and income.

As part of a growing demand to provide its services to its client base outside of its traditional US market and into the rapidly growing regions of Asia and the Pacific Piedmont explored its option for an Asian office before settling on Singapore and launching Piedmont Asia in August 2024.

As well, Piedmont Asia continues its existing US relationship with Norton Benefit Solutions and is promoting and distributing the Norton Benefit Solutions Cyber Security solution to International Schools, Employers, Telcos, Clubs and Association and Affinity channels throughout the region.
PARTNERING WITH NORTON
Piedmont began its relationship about a decade ago, as a payments provider for employers offering NortonLifeLock benefits to their employees. In 2019 Piedmont and Norton Benefit Solutions formed a reseller/partnership to service schools, unions, associations, multi-employer groups, brokers and agencies.
In 2024 Norton expanded its robust identity and cybersecurity solutions globally. At about the same time Piedmont Asia was formed in Singapore. Piedmont Asia is expanding its relationship with NortonLifeLock as its reseller/partner throughout Asia.
Piedmont Asia offers Norton Benefit Solution Cyber Security to employers, schools, government and associations throughout Asia and the Pacific Region.
Piedmont Asia further partners with Norton Benefit Solutions globally with a focus on serving International Schools.
